Walnut Travertine is a special kind of stone with unique patterns & veins which can be cut & carved in a wide variety of shapes & sizes such as antique, guillotine, ashlar, vein cut, cross cut, tile slab & so on. due to its patterns & motifs its very applicable for interior walls, floors & decorative objects.

Abrasion Resistance:
Low
This material has relatively high abrasion resistance. It rates as a 7 or higher on the Mohs scale. Quartzite or granite typically fall into this range. This material is less likely to scratch than marble, limestone, onyx, slate, etc.
Absorption:
High
This material has a low to moderate absorption rate. Always seal this material prior to use. To reduce the appearance of stains, always wipe up spills immediately. Oil and highly-pigmented liquids can penetrate and stain the stone and may need poultice to remove the stain.
Acid Sensitivity:
Minimal
This material is minimally sensitive to acids. It will not acid etch or lose its surface sheen when exposed to acidic liquids such as lemons or tomatoes.
Freeze Thaw:
Not Recommended
Due to known material weakness or because this material has not been tested, this material is not approved for use in exterior applications.
